This is a pair of antique solid cherry bed posts with cannonball tops. They
measure aprox. 42" high x 3 3/4" square near the bottom. There are mortise
holes on two sides where bed rails would have been attached and some round
dowel holes on one side for the cross stretcher. Overall they are in good
condition, there is also some wear and chips that you would expect to see with
late 1800's beds. You can also see some scuff marks from where the cross
stretcher was removed. We have more than one pair like this available as well
