This toilet was just recently removed from a 100 year old house in Santa Cruz,
CA. It has been in continuous use for over 100 years. It continues to work as
it was designed. The toilet was installed in its original water closet with no
other fixtures. It discharged into a 4" lead pipe before flowing into cast
iron fittings.
Removed toilet because we decided to tile the floor. Since it was necessary
to take-up the toilet to lay the tile, it made since to change the toilet at
this time.
The house the old toilet was removed from has been in the family since 1949.
